3rd Generation in a Country Music Family Dynasty – it is no surprise multiple Golden Guitar Winner Ashleigh Dallas, took to the music scene like a duck to water.

Born in Australia’s Country Music Capital of Tamworth NSW, Ashleigh grew up listening to the musical sounds of her family – Roll of Renown recipient and Golden Guitar Winner Rex Dallas, and Golden Guitar winner, producer, multi instrumentalist father Brett Dallas.

With four studio albums under her belt, Dallas latest album REFLECTION released in 2019 showcases another Level of her craft. Ashleigh has cemented her own footprint in the industry with her songwriting and unique sound and with the upcoming Album filled with 100% original songs, Ash feels like she is about to share her best music yet.

“ Lyrically I feel that these songs have stepped into another dimension, inspired from stories from my life since the last album was recorded, tales of love, loss , my love of the ocean and feeling more settled and content in life than ever before”

Her award winning album “Lighthouse” which debut in 2017 at number #2 on the ARIA Country Charts just below Keith Urban, was an album that Ashleigh felt connected to her fans on a higher level then before.  In 2018 Lighthouse was awarded the inaugural Traditional Country Album of The Year Golden Guitar, which also saw her father and producer Brett Dallas recognised with a Golden Guitar Award- making Australian Country Music History as the first family who shares 3 generations of Golden Guitar Awards.

Holding a shiny Golden Guitar Trophy in her name for Qantaslink New Talent of the Year in 2014, Ashleigh has been proud to be a finalist with each album release, and having much success with each single finding a place at #1 on Australian and International Charts and worldwide downloads.

With her music taking her all over Australia and Overseas, Ashleigh has been proud to be a part of music festival Tunes In The Tropics held on Fiji’s Coral Coast since the age of 16, and is thrilled to be the ambassador. In the 10 years of the trip Ashleigh has been a part of raising money for the local Fijian Community and local schools while sharing her songs to the festival goers and local families.

Also no stranger to the high seas, Ashleigh is always a popular performer on board Cruisin’ Country which has seen her as part of the Theatre band playing Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar and Banjo for acts such as Graeme Connors, Troy Cassar Daley, Shane Nicholson, but in the past 4 years Ash has been on board sharing her songs and melodies in her own right as a performer.

Ashleigh as a past graduate of the CMAA Academy -2009 Junior and 2010 Senior course , was thrilled to now be giving back to the industry as a Group Leader, Guest speaker and songwriter at the 2017 Junior Course, and 2018 Senior Course by sharing her vibrant and enthusiastic love of Country Music.

This coming year sees Ashleigh and her family take on lots of new adventures.

The most exciting start to 2019 being the journey of parenthood for her husband Chris and Ashleigh welcoming their baby girl Harriet Lynn Dallas into the world at the very fitting time of Tamworth Country Music Festival. With music no stranger to Harriet’s ears already, as Ashleigh will release her brand new album in 2019, which was recorded during 2018, the majority while Ashleigh was pregnant, which made the process even more special. Recording the new album in her father’s studio “Dalvilla Studios” with her dad Brett producing and adding his artistic flare, brother Lindsay Dallas on bass and family friend Adam McCann on drums.

With all of the family history and the individual dreams Ash plans – Ashleigh strives to be a positive force within the industry, continuing to share her songwriting, using her voice and music platform to be an ambassador for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library and several roles as Group Leader at the CMAA Academy of Country Music.

“ I  always look forward to sharing my songs and stories to the world  and I  look forward to meeting more audiences as we continue to tour and hitting the festival stages and getting to share the new songs live and the stories behind them. Creating music that resonates with my heart personally and then with our fan base is something I cherish and I look forward to building on that more this year ”
