Tamworth born and bred, 5 x CMAA Golden Guitar Winner – Ashleigh Dallas was raisedon the sound of music within the family – Roll of Renown recipient and Golden Guitar winner grandfather Rex Dallas, and producer and multi-instrumentalist father Brett Dallas. Announced the Traditional Country Album of the Year in 2023 – In The Moment – added to the success of it already being #2 ARIA charting and #1 AIR Independent Album. In The Moment, continues to demonstrate her authentic songwriting and traditional sound with a blend of contemporary but wrapped up in the musical offerings of being a multi instrumentalist with Fiddle, banjo & mandolin. Ashleigh won her first Golden Guitar, Qantaslink New Talent of the Year, in 2014 before her 2017 #2 ARIA charting album, Lighthouse, won the inaugural Traditional Country Album of The Year Golden Guitar, seeing her father and producer Brett win a Golden Guitar. They made history as a family with three generations of Golden Guitar winners. The Mum of Two shares her story through songs with a look into every day family life, heartaches and struggles that are overcome by finding beauty in the little things – the 2022 Female Artist of the Year has more new music plans on the horizon teasing fans of more new music to be shared throughout 2023. Winning Gold for the Video Clip of the Year , showed a warm acceptance on the collaboration where she joined Luke O’Shea for “Long Way Round” which amplified the reaction & connection that & quirky video had with the fans. Ash also with her love of music and travel has joined forces with Rediscover Australia reminding all the importance of exploring our own Aussie back yard and often Dallas gives back as an a CMAA Academy group leader and teacher at the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music – sharing her love of music, expression in creative writing and mentoring in songwriting workshops.
